Raúl Hurtado: "The "aborrajado" is a delicious dish consisting of fried ripe plantains stuffed with, typically, mozzarella cheese. What we do is take 2 slices of ripe plantains, fry them for a short while, then take cheese and place it between the 2 slices. Finally we batter the whole thing with flour and fry it one last time... And I am having aborrajado today for lunch..."

The only Jazzy tune in my latest album “Songs from my Childhood” is a song about how two people, who have grown in the same environment and suffered there many hardships, can grow up to either become successful human beings or everlasting victims of the past. Hope you enjoy my latest single “Midnight’s Agony” and don’t forget to share, like or comment to support my work. Thanks to all. With love: Raúl.

The Hermit’s Emotions, written at the age of 16, is a song about family problems. In it the “hermit” represents that person in a family who, all alone, seeks unity between its members. However, only the hermit’s youngest sister, dubbed “Mei Mei”, still has some sense of why it is important for them to remain close despite all what has happened. Hope you enjoy the fifth song of my latest album “Songs from my Childhood”.
