The Story of St Andrew - Scotland's patron saint
St. Andrew’s Day is a Scottish feast in memory of Saint Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland. Saint Andrew’s Day is celebrated each year on November 30, a holiday known as Scotland’s official national day. As such, the celebrations are imbued with Scottish culture where traditional Scottish food, music and dance are never absent. As part of the events, in Glasgow center, a large shindig, or party, is organized where people dance in circles to traditional Scottish music. This type of dancing event is known in Scotland as ceilidh.

Burns night - Addressing of the haggis HD
A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns, author of many Scots poems. The suppers are normally held on or near the poet's birthday, 25 January, sometimes also known as Robert Burns Day (or Rabbie Burns Day) or Burns Night. The celebration includes haggis (a traditional Scottish dish celebrated by Burns in Address to a Haggis), Scotch whisky and the recitation of Burns' poetry.
